The Talk is Free
In this evening talk Shyam and Christine will be
going deep into a detailed presentation of our
inner body. You will learn about the subtle
channels of prana in our bodies and how they
form into the chakras. From a yogic viewpoint
it is these very knots in our inner body that
tie us down to lower levels of consciousness
and keep us in a mindset of suffering.
Then they will present the yogic wisdom
of detangling the charkas to where
the prana can run smoothly thereby
opening us up to much higher
levels of consciousness and bliss.
They will also describe what
happens on an inner body level
as we do our asanas and how
we can enter into this higher
level in our yogic practice
with greater ease and higher

This is the final course on Master Kamilashila’s Bhavana Krama (The Stages of Meditation) and marks the end of James and Lisette’s effort to transmit this book in NYC over the past year.
This course reveals the details of the Path of Preparation, The Path of Seeing, and the Path of Habituation to reach total enlightenment.
This is a hands-on, experiential course with weekly meditation assignments.
The course is taught by James Connor and Dr. Lisette Garcia, who gained the lineage from Lama Christie McNally, who recently completed a three-year silent retreat in the Arizona desert. James and Lisette are long-time students of the ancient wisdom of Tibet and India, are certified meditation teachers from the Asian Classics Institute of New York and Diamond Mountain University in Arizona, and are excited about continuing to present the Bok Jinpa series.

Tell China to Wake Up Before it's Too Late!
Make your voice heard by signing the petition urging China to improve its human rights conditions and demanding integrity from China and the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Petition to Mr. Jacques Rogge, IOC President
Dear Mr. Rogge,
I am writing as someone who has been inspired both by the International Olympic Committee's dedication to the Olympic Truce and the Dalai Lama's peaceful efforts to find a negotiated solution for Tibet.
In light of the IOC's Olympic Truce commitment "to create a window of opportunities for dialogue, reconciliation and the resolution of conflicts...and to encourage political leaders to act in favour of peace" (www.olympic.org), it is clear that the IOC ideals and values are very applicable for Tibet as we approach the 2008 Games. The IOC has long contended that awarding Beijing the 2008 Games will improve human rights in China, but as time passes, these assurances have not turned into concrete results.
The IOC should not let the Olympics be used by China to blatantly or insidiously try to legitimize their rule in Tibet or to promote a distorted view of the conditions there. Yet with China's selection of the Tibetan antelope (or chiru) as an Olympic mascot, we are already seeing the first results of a Chinese strategy to misuse Tibet in relation to the 2008 Olympics.
I ask that you use your good office to make real the lofty ideals of the Olympic Truce and hold Beijing to the same high standard. There is a real opportunity to promote the Olympics Truce with regards to Tibet and to improve the human rights situation there. Thank you for your help.
